Are you working in a Service Company? Check out the brutal reality!!
It's impolitic for a Software Engineer, working in a leading MNC which is a service provider to leading US clients, to impugn the culture he chose for the pursuit of pleasure in life. I feel better to speak up than to be hewed.
The haughty policy says "Customers are the King"!!! Do you feel so? In the present era, with ever increasing demands for the big companies, I feel "Employees are the King". Don't hone your heels to hit me. Customers are our priority but employees are more dearer to us. Many companies think employees are cost to them. But they are blindfolded to accept the truth i.e. "Employees are the revenue generators". The imperious clients weave their cloth with the threads spun by we employees. We Indians' are considered to be cheap labours and India to be ground for big players. But we incandescent employees are not cheap enough to imbue impertinent attitude of these service companies. As a result of this, attrition rate is higher for these ignoble companies. Companies little bother for this. They know how to harness the bigger jobless chunk in the country. But in the long run will these companies stick to their present genre??? If not extinct, they will lose their stand for sure.
Am I inane to think of my stand in the company? Better you think of it too.
